Mission

It is the mission of the Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville to serve as a bridge between the Princeville Public Library and the culturally rich and diverse communities it serves. We are the Library’s supporters and advocates. Through fundraising for programming, collection development and library services, volunteer coordination and community advocacy, our goal is to be an innovative, hands-on, trendsetting organization that prides itself on its inclusivity and racial and cultural understanding.

Vision

We commit to serving all of our communities wherever a need exists that we can fill.

Goals

Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville supports the library through fundraising, such as the quarterly used book sales, Friends membership, and private donations.

Money raised through the Friends’ fundraising efforts results in additional books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs for checkout at the library. Additionally, Friends’ funding supports quality programming, library beautification, furnishings, and community events.

All interested persons in the community are warmly invited to participate in events and volunteers are always welcome at the library.
